What Are Insignia Enemies?
Insignia enemies are powerful otherworldly foes appearing at key story points, accompanied by visual distortion. They are significantly stronger than standard dungeon bosses, with faster attacks, teleportation, and multiple phases.
Preparing for Insignia Fights
• Keep gear repaired whenever entering major story segments.
• Maintain a healthy potion/revival stock at ALL times.
• They resist many status effects; do not rely on stun-locking.
• Bring your strongest, most reliable party composition.
General Insignia Mechanics
• Fast aggressive combos -- Chain attacks fluidly; fewer free punishes.
• Teleportation/dashes -- Can close gaps instantly; always be ready to dodge.
• Distortion area attacks -- Dark/purple ground pools; move out immediately.
• Projectile volleys -- Spread or homing dark projectiles; keep moving sideways.
• Phase transitions -- Power up and gain new attacks at HP thresholds.
• Extreme damage -- Hits very hard even at low Risk; orange/red Risk can one-shot.
Player Tip: If stuck, step back and do side content. Level up 2-3 times, upgrade weapon, unlock new skills, and return. Insignia bosses are tough but never impossible with preparation.

• Play defensively first minute; observe patterns before committing.
• Dodge more than Perfect Guard against fast combos.
• Check mini-map for teleporting enemies.
• Never stand in distortion pools.
