Everything you need to know about Premiere -- your mysterious amnesiac companion in SAO: Hollow Realization.
Who Is Premiere?
Premiere is the central character of Hollow Realization's original story. When Kirito first encounters her in Ainground, she has no memory, no player ID, and the game world appears to glitch out around her. She is not a normal player and not a normal NPC -- her existence is the core mystery of the game's plot.
Premiere in Combat
Premiere is a unique party member who fights alongside you throughout much of the game. Her combat abilities grow and evolve as the story progresses, making her one of the most interesting allies to keep in your party.
• Premiere uses a distinctive fighting style that does not match any single weapon type available to the player.
• She has access to abilities and skill effects that no other NPC uses.
• Her performance in combat scales with story progression and your affinity with her.
• Keeping Premiere in your active party is strongly recommended for both story reasons and combat effectiveness.
Building Affinity with Premiere
Premiere has unique dialogue interactions throughout the story. Your conversation choices with her are more important than with other NPCs because of her central role in the plot.
• Talk to her whenever she is available in town between story segments.
• Keep her in your active party as much as possible.
• Pay attention to her dialogue -- she often expresses confusion about the world and her own existence. Patient, supportive responses generally build affinity.
• Complete her character-specific events when they become available.
Player Tip: I am deliberately avoiding specific story spoilers here, but I will say this: Premiere's story arc is one of the most compelling parts of Hollow Realization. Keep her in your party, pay attention to her scenes, and do not write her off as just another tutorial NPC.
Spoiler-Free Story Guidance
Without giving anything away:
• If you notice Premiere acting differently or the game world behaving strangely around her, pay attention -- these are not bugs, they are story elements.
• Key moments with Premiere happen at regular story intervals. If you are doing a lot of side content, check back on the main story periodically.
• The choices you make in Premiere's dialogue scenes do matter for the ending, though you cannot really 'mess up' the story in a way that blocks content.
