Rapier Playstyle Overview Rapier is Asuna's signature weapon -- lightning-fast, precise, and deadly. Rapiers have the fastest multi-hit thrust combos and highest natural crit rate, but very short range. You need to commit to being in an enemy's face, mastering positioning, and capitalizing on every opening.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths • Fastest attack speed among non-Dagger weapons. • Highest base critical hit rate. • Multi-hit sword skills build SSC chains quickly. • Fast recovery makes dodge canceling very effective. • Excellent at applying status effects through sheer hit count. • Access to good self-sustain via healing sword skills.

Weaknesses • Extremely short range. • Low per-hit damage -- damage comes from crits and multi-hits. • Limited AoE coverage. • No shield; rely entirely on dodging and Perfect Guard.

Stat Priority • DEX -- Most important; boosts crit rate dramatically. • AGI -- Extends i-frames; dodging is your lifeline without a shield. • STR -- Adds per-hit damage; many hits make small bonuses add up. • VIT -- Some investment so you do not get one-shot by stray hits.
