Which early quest board missions are worth doing, which to skip, and efficient side content completion.
The Quest Board
Bulletin board in central plaza offers rotating missions: kill X enemies, collect Y materials, explore Z. Bonus Col/EXP/items on top of normal gains.
Accept Everything Before Heading Out
ACCEPT ALL available quests before leaving town. You complete them passively while doing story/exploration. There is no penalty for having many accepted quests; complete them at your own pace.
High Priority Quests
• Kill quests for current area enemies -- Pure profit; you fight them anyway.
• Gather quests for common materials -- Complete passively while exploring.
• Boss/miniboss kill quests -- Bonus rewards for planned fights.
• Exploration quests -- Visit areas/activate stones you should visit anyway.
Low Priority / Skippable
• Quests for areas far below your level (trivial rewards).
• Rare material quests you cannot farm yet (accept but do not grind).
• Excessive quantity quests (accept and complete passively over time).
Player Tip: Turn in completed quests EVERY time in town. Rewards add immediately; some unlock follow-ups with better rewards. Do not leave completed quests sitting un-turned-in.
Efficient Questing Routine
• Turn in all completed quests at board.
• Accept all newly available quests.
• Check log for geographic overlap; plan one trip for multiple quests.
• Do blacksmith/shops/inventory.
• Complete overlapping quests in single loop.
• Return to town and repeat.
NPC Side Quests
Named NPCs offer personal quests with: story scenes/dialogue, affinity gains, better rewards (unique items/large Col/EXP), sometimes unlock features/shop items. Always talk to NPCs with dialogue indicators.
Spending Early Quest Rewards
• Keep 10-15 HP / 5 SP potions stocked.
• Repair when durability below 80%.
• Upgrade weapon +2/+3 (save higher for later gear).
• Unlock new skills/Battle Skills with SP from leveling.
• Basic NPC gifts once you have Col buffer.
